Meet a Lancashire Mum of 2 – “Balancing Brainpower and Parenthood”

Hello and Welcome!

Dear Friend,

I’m so glad you’ve landed here on my personal slice of the Internet. My name is Kat, and I’m a dedicated wife, a proud mum of two beautiful children, and an enthusiastic resident of the charming Lancashire, UK.

My journey has been one of passion, dedication, and continuous learning. I earned triple distinctions in my BTEC Health and Social Care studies, followed by my graduation in 2014 with a 2:1 Bachelor Honours Degree in Community and Youth Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University. For over a dozen years, I have been deeply immersed in the fulfilling role of a youth worker. By guiding and shaping young minds, I have seen firsthand how small encouragements can create massive waves in someone’s life.

While my professional life has been dedicated to supporting the growth and development of others, off the clock, my world revolves around family and creativity. There’s nothing quite like a day filled with laughter and adventures with the kids or getting lost in the flow of a new arts and crafts project. It’s in these moments that I find joy and inspiration.

My love for my family drives me, and through them, I’ve learned some of life’s greatest lessons on patience, resilience, and unconditional love. They’ve shown me the extraordinary in the ordinary, and together, we cherish every little excursion that life throws our way.

Through this page, I aim to share a piece of my heart and the experiences that continue to shape who I am. Whether it’s a crafty endeavor I’ve embarked on or the latest escapade with my family, I hope to connect with you and perhaps inspire a bit of creativity and joy in your own life.

Thank you for stopping by, and I can’t wait to share my stories and hear yours as well.

Warm regards,

Kat. LE.
