Ingredients:

• 1 pack of express pizza dough (pre-made)
• 1 tin of chopped tomatoes with herbs
• 2 tablespoons of Growers Harvest tomato puree
• Pinch of salt
• 1 cup of grated mozzarella and cheese mix
• 1 teaspoon of oil for greasing
• 4 chopped cherry tomatoes

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
2. Line a baking tray with grease-proof paper and lightly oil the paper to prevent sticking.
3. Lay the pizza dough on the tray. Cut a large triangle by slicing from the top middle down to each corner of the square.
4. Use the cut-off pieces to form a second triangle, pressing the edges together to create a larger triangle. Set this second triangle aside for later.

Step 2: Make the Sauce

1. In a pan, combine the tin of chopped tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato puree, and a pinch of salt.
2. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Assemble the Pizza

1. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the triangle of pizza dough on the tray.
2. Sprinkle 1/3 cup of the cheese mix evenly over the sauce.
3. Place the second triangle of dough on top, aligning it with the first triangle.
4. Using scissors, cut 8–10 lines into the sides of the dough triangle. Stop before the center to keep the dough connected.

Step 4: Create the Twists

1. Gently twist each cut section twice to give the dough a curly appearance, resembling the branches of a Christmas tree.
2. Decorate your pizza tree with halved cherry tomatoes to resemble ornaments.
3. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top for added festive flair.

Step 5: Bake and Enjoy

1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the dough is golden brown.
2. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy your festive creation!
